Known for having a chemical composition that closely resembles human skin sebum, Jojoba oil is actually a wax not an oil. It is a light hypoallergenic oil that penetrates well into skin making it smooth and nourished. Jojoba oil balances skin oil production without making it greasy and thus it is a perfect choice for oily skin types. It creates a protective barrier on skin and prevents breakouts.
