It takes 25-30 litres of our pure Gir cow A2 milk to make 1 litre of our bilona ghee.
The milk is set into curd and churned to separate makkhan. This makkhan is then slow cooked, cooled and strained to remove caseins and milk solids. The remaining golden liquid is pure, Gir cow bilona ghee.
Bilona Ghee is casein-free and suitable for lactose intolerant children and adults.
Packed in glass jars.

Made by the Vedic bilona method in small batches, using ONLY 100% PURE A2 GIR COW MILK, our handmade ghee is truly special. We collect the butter after churning homemade yogurt and delicately heat it over a clay stove and slow flame fuelled by cow dung.
Bilona ghee made from hand-churned cultured butter is prized as a delivery system for nutrients from food to be delivered at the cellular level. It contains prebiotics, aids in digestion, and is known to support a healthy balance over-all.
