The classic mustard is closest to a more good-old-fashioned French country mustard, also known as a Moutarde à l'ancienne. A wholesome flavour profile, made with both black and yellow mustard grains. Pungent, with smooth tones and coarsely ground grains. All our mustards are vegan and handmade. They are created to give, not only a new setting to the people’s relationship with mustard but also of coming up with new creative uses of local and traditional ingredients that have been. For their preparation, we use small-scale artisanal methods such as ageing and curing of the mustard grains and stone grinding to maintain the integrity of our ingredients. Our mustards are available in different textures from whole grain to coarsely ground to a slightly pastier consistency. There are no preservatives, additives or flavour enhancers of any sort. How to store: The mustards need to be stored in a refrigerator or cool room at all times, and ambient temperatures should not exceed 16 degrees Celsius. Shelf life: Unopened, the mustards will keep up to a year provided they are stored in the manner prescribed. Once opened, the shelf life is 6 months for optimum flavour provided they are stored in the manner prescribed.

The mustard grains used and most of the other raw materials are grown on our farm in Uttarakhand and the varieties are all desi (indigenous), so no hybrid and no GMO. So you're helping the bees out as well as yourselves by eating these mustards. Not to mention the farmer in the middle of it all.
Moreover, in addition to being a delicious flavour enhancer, our mustards are vegan and so suitable for all consumers. And mustards, as a whole, prepared with natural fruit vinegars are a good condiment to keep the digestive tract functioning like it should.
Our products are free of additives and preservatives so keeping them in the fridge or in a cool dry pantry is best. Even though mustard is a naturally preserving product and the natural fruit vinegars in it help with natural preservation, better to be safe than sorry is what we always say.
In the summer months, if you live in areas where the summer is extremely hot, don't consume copious amounts of mustard because it is, at the end of the day, a heating substance large amounts of which aren't good for you at a time of year when everything is warm.
