The Boondi or Motichoor Laddu is the epitome of our childhood! From celebrating festivals to the marriage of loved ones, Boondi Laddu takes us back to happy, carefree days. It is easily associated with all things good, which is why we love it when you can indulge in this mithai without worrying about the health hazards of dairy! Ingredients: Gram Flour, Raw Sugar, Rice Bran Oil, Cardamom, Melon Seeds Background: Also known as Laddu, this sweet is one of the most well known and universal Indian sweets whose origin tracks back to Gujurat in the 12th century. Ladoos are usually made from semolina, gram flour, ghee, sugar, milk, cardamom powder, chopped almonds and pistachios, and vark to tie it all together. Other flours are sometimes used too. They are usually eaten on their own and you will find yourself unable to eat more than two or three due to their thick sweet and dense texture. There are a few varieties of this sweet such as Motichoor Laddu, Boondi Laddu and Atta Laddu.
