About Wild Date! BACK TO THE FIRST DATE Wild Date was conceived in a small kitchen in Chennai, where our founder Siddarth was raised, and is the brainchild of a love for delicious yet clean eating. His mother�s tasty, nutritious cooking harboured his love for food and made him a curious and avid foodie. When Siddarth flew the nest, he often found himself compromising between health and taste, and realised he would need to fill the gap himself. He pursued a master�s in food management with specialisation in "Food Safety & Nutrition Management" and "Innovation & New Product Development" at the University of Surrey. He soon started making energy bars, protein bars and granolas in small batches for friends and family.
